Commitment

In 1994, Morani Poyoni and his son Bobu founded the company, formerly known as Monduli Juu cultural tourism program. His vision was to create unique and inspiring experiences focussing on truly connecting guests through cultural experience and low impact activities, specifically through Hiking, trekking and bird watching . This formed the foundation of the Dimbwiii brand slogan: “life on the pond”. "Dimbwi" is a Swahili word that translates to "pool," "puddle," or "mere" in English. It refers to a small body of standing water teaming with life, often stagnant or formed after rain.

More details:

The process of a small water droplet falling and making a sound is commonly referred to as dripping or plinking. When a droplet lands on a liquid surface (like a puddle or another body of water), it can cause a small, trapped air bubble to oscillate, resulting in a characteristic "plink" sound of "Dimbwiii".
